This session will cover the basic requirements of the major student privacy laws; FERPA, PPRA, COPPA,  HIPAA,  & CIPA. Attendees will come away with a basic understanding of the requirements of each of these laws in their school district. Emphasis will be place on operational impacts of each of these requirements on day to day policies and procedures. Participants can expect to leave with a solid understanding of what may be required at the classroom and district level to meet ensure compliance with all student privacy regulations.
